wicklow north beach 12/2/2009

Duration:7pm till 10pm

Tide:low tide about 7

Weather:slight breaze

Bait:mack and sandeel

Rigs:loop rig

Results:15 whiting and 2 dogs


Hit the north beach tonight and had pleanty of action from start to finish . whiting mostly small but one or two decent sized close in. got the dogs further out and both were on sandeel. good to get out as it was quite mild this evening and it sure beats looking at rubbish on the telly.

Not a bad night's fishing bigsod. Which beach is North Beach? I've fished the harbour many times. i presume it's the beach that you can see from the harbour but let me know if you can. Thanks.

thats it. if you go over the river at the bridge tavern and keep left you get to it.

so u were standing on the north beach but with that cast id say
u were picking up the dogs in holyhead!!!

Cheers lads ill be hitting the north beach again one of the evenings next week if anyone wants to head out.
