north down turbot

is there any decent that turbot may be a possibility in north down, i was thinking about millisle ballywalter or ballyhalbert.

I think the answer is goin 2b a big fat NO... on that 1 Dan i've scratched about ther quite a bit for flats and aint had any turbos... but then again as fishin goes u never know ur luck no harm in tryin :wink: :wink:

hi dan, i've got them on the beach and pier at waterfoot but i dont really fish much in co down
so would'nt know many marks....................i know this is'nt much help as you looking for info on
down, but if all else fails ya can head up north
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

i was just wonderin cause i have heard of them at the mouth of strangford lough, around bangor and at ballyhalbert. i know there are plenty of flounder, dab and plaice about the area.
