People: myself, shamoo
Duration: 6.15 - 10pm
Tide: high 7.30
Weather: very cold to start breezy then got milder
Bait: mack, lug, sandeel, squid
Rigs: 2 hook flapper, pulley
Results: 5 whiting, 4 rockling
Report: wanted to try another spot i hadnt fished before - seeing a codling of decent size down in killiney thought there might be a rogue hanging round shankill - no joy tho
wouldnt like to try fishing this mark on a spring - tide fairly surged every so often
the whiting were a good size - one almost 40cm - at least not a plague of pins
some of the rockling were ridiculously small - 12cm or so
mark got rockling and whiting also
good to catch something i suppose at a new spot
all fish in close - pulley were stripped by crabs or ended up buried in the heavy sand/mud - lost a rig in it
fished to the right of the walkway down - is the left better ground?
thanks

Nice size alright! The biggest one I ever caught was just over 30 cm.
