Kilcoole 17-01-09

#1 Post by DaveP »

People:Me

Duration:9am - Noon

Tide:HW 16:05

Weather: Bright and mild at first turning cold and very windy

Bait:Rag and Squid

Rigs:Penel and one up one down

Results: 1 LSD

Knew the weather was to turn bad but decided to risk it anyway. Eventually the wind and the weed won and I called it a day at about midday. The wind and weed made it very difficult to detect any bites. I had one doggie at longish range.
Might give one of the local beaches a crack in the morning as I still have loads of bait left.

Dave

Nearly every-time that I fish in Kilcoole I get stuck in the weed. At least you didn't blank
