your best bet is a 3 hook flapper, or a 2up one down type rig, i am sure the more experience match anglers can give better advice

yeah the best rig is probably a 2 up 1 down flapper rig, cast into the surf no more than 30 yards. set up an additional rig baited up ready to go once you bring in the first rig and use a snap swivel to change it. Lug seems to be working well this weather.

Looks like its going to be a windy once this weekend, have a few more rigs tied up incase the get caught up in weed. I find if there is weed about change your bait more often and keep the snoods short and line high and tight.
hope this helps

if its flounder fishing im def the wrong guy,, but hook flapers should be perfect fished in close with either ball leads or flat,,, try using a fine wire size 4, 2 , or 1,s match hooks,,, always have a 2 hook clipped and 3 hook clipped rig in your wallet to,,, try pleant of dif baits till you figure out whats working , and if the guy beside you is catching well watch them,, and most of all bring a bit of luck, (thats my trick)
