Re: Colimore Harbour
Ive been having a nightmare there recently, the lobster pots are not sufficiantly marked. The best spot is on the single pier as apposed to the wall. The left part of the wall is a a tackle graceyard so fish as far to the right on the wall. The last time I fished it (27/12) I got a bullhuss my first one ever at about 6 o'clock, I couldn't believe it, and I had no camera and no torch, typical! I got a few whiting and pollock afterwards. I really hate the spot sometimes very snaggy and those effin pots! but its so handy to access ,Alot of time you will hook up a fish and lose your gear and fish on the retrieve, I might try there tonight with a few pulley rigs.

Re: Colimore Harbour
Fished there newyears day evening for short session, as john says, only very small stuff around, I had a big bait out that night aswell, but that only got me a whiting.
Must say, I fished by the wall of the harbour on the left side of the harbour mouth (by the big sign), didnt lose any gear, and didnt get a single snag. No pots that night either

Re: Colimore Harbour
snaggy spot. very snaggy spot, plus the dalkey sound tide can be strong. the pots are a pain too. on the otherhand the old bait from the pots brings the mullet around...
