Greystones 03-01-09 the baths

#1 Post by herefishyfishy »

People:me and my dad

Duration:9:45pm-1:15 am

Tide:low water

Weather:cold no wind

Bait:lug,mack

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:whiting, 3 beard rockling and Dabs

Report: we set out to fish the steps got there to find that there were to lads fishing it, went down they sad they were catching whiting small ones (they still kept a few of them    Surprisingly they weren't Irish why do they take them home?????) anyway we decided to fish the old baths just up from the steps. little cosy spot never tried here before so i went out to the right trying to get up near the beach to see if anything was feeding off the beach, while my dad went straight out, results were the same, in total 10 or 11 fish 3 rockling, 3 dabs and the rest whiting. The steps probabaly produce more fish but nearly all whiting. Well i cant be disappointed as got out thursday, friday and saturday. its just a pity i'm back to work now in the morning well i must try and get out more of the weekends i'm off.
