Tide:rising

Weather:light easterly

Bait:lug/mac/frozen crab/sandeel

Rigs:3 hook clipdown/ pennel pulley rig

Results:1codling/1 cod/1 rockling/3 dogs

ReportGoods nights fishing. started fishing at 5pm on my first cast i had a codling of a lb and a half. then had a rockling on the next cast. set up second rod after that but not another bite for the next hour

I said i get a cuppa the next thing my rod went over in a hoop[a cod of 6lb8oz] some fight to get it in alot of big waves and surf but got it in[thank god :lol:

. Then i had three dogs [single and a double] after that and then came the weed in baulks [time to go] . Went home happy with personnel best cod from beach and a good feed for tomorrow. SORRY NO PICTURES YET[WORKING ON IT] POST THEM SHORTLY. HAPPY NEW YEAR

Nice fish there. Thought i'd left to early but seems you weren't on the same part of the beach as me at all. Its my only consolation.
