Gettin the odd coalie off the beaches but not really targeting them. Was too much surf most of last bunch of sessions to be really gettin dogs where I was fishin. Last time I fished in a calm at lw got plenty of em but it was a while back.

coalies, well there starting to show up here in numbers, and was getting a good few in southern wexford a few weeks ago. as for the dogs, it is getting late for them, you wont get the same numbers as you do in summer, have to say dublin and wicklow were jammers with the little feckers all summer and autumn

Maybe the whiting are causeing the drop in coalies and doggies because there is so many whiting that the coalies and dogs can t get any food

thats one skinny doggie, i had one a while back that was half that length but probably the same weight.

if you put him into a tank you'd get done for animal cruelty for not feeding it.

Hi,

There's no shortage of doggies here in Kerry either - although my mates below in Cork are scratching their heads as to where the cod and the coalies are this winter. Like the one inthe picture lots of very small LSD's around at the moment

I heard that they are trawling for Doggies for bait for pots along the east coast. I can't say if its true or not but I've had none at all. Years ago in Wexford you'd get a dog a cast some nights.
