People: me + 3 others

Duration: 11 - 3

Tide: lw 11

Weather: bright but vv cool especially with the breeze

Bait: all sorts

Rigs: pulleys and flappers

Results: blank

Report: not much to report really - just 8 rods out and not a bite over the session - ground was clean enough - and the current wasnt too bad

crabs appeared in waves at times

at least ill know where im going next time

this east breeze seems to have killed it off - was out 2 days ago and couldnt even stand on spiddal pier - then blanked for an hour and half on barna - for the craic

It's not a mark known for producing alot of fish at this time of year especially in these cold easterlies. I have caught ray from carrigaholt in december but it's been very cold for a shallow beach. Ray are being caught the other side of the estuary so still worth a shot on the outter estuary marks.

I fished Carraroe the other day. We had six rods out out for four hours and only two fish. A flounder and a thornback ray. We had all kinds of bait.
