wicklow harbour and then howth

People:me

Duration:wick 9-1 howth 3-5

Tide: wick hw 1 howth hw 3

Weather: cold but sunny

Bait: lug wraps crab sandeel and mussel

Rigs: erics scratching rig and a few others

Results: wick dab,coalie,sea scorpion and whiting
howth dab,whiting and plenty of crabs




Report:

decided 2 get out 4 a few hrs before the new yr,
shud have prob stayed in bed as the fishing was queit poor,
ah well bring on the new yr.

happy new yr 2 all and tight lines 2 all for 2009 :lol: :lol:

Some venue change there from Wicklow to Howth. Well done on getting a bite in Howth though. I have never ever had so much as a bite there the last year.

i no, but it was on way home.
2nd time fishing howth in las month, jus 2 kill an hr r 2.
1st nite loads of whiting and crabs (crabs gave a better tug on linthan whiting :oops: :oops: )
was very suprised 2 catch a dab yesterday 2 :shock: :shock:

Well done Wayne,you didnt do too bad in Wicklow harbour at all ,at least you got a few fish. Will have to give the northside a bash sometime :lol: :lol: M50 is very handy for me to head south though :lol: :lol: Happy New Year

theres a few spots my uncle fishes on north side, if ur heading this way pm me and i tell ye were he fishes.
