Results: 3Dabs and a rockling
Decided to try and find a new beach to fish from so went passed Arklow and headed off at the next exit and found a beach , look very promising, lovely surf coming in and not much wind. Set up and as we did another lad turned up. myself and my dad fished in front of were the cars are parked. I had two rods out one about 120yrds and the other in no futher than 50yards. My dad had one out at about 100yards. First cast on both distance rods resulted i two dabs one at 31cm (Dads) and mine at 29cm. i had a rockling on the short rod near the end and one more smaller dab on the long rod at about 6pm. Good few bites not alot o fish. All fish went back alive and well. Must try it again before i go back to work. the other lad finished up just after us he was fishing near the rocks down the left of us. He resulted in no fish but good to get out for fishing. sorry for the late report but was in Mayo yesterday/today visiting.

the first two fish were caught both on the top hook of two hook flappers my dads on Mackeraland mine on squid, the rockling took the gung from frozen squid on a pennel rig and i dont know what the other Dab took cant remember.
