People:me , the missus
Duration:4:30pm -6.30pm
Tide:Top
Weather:bitter cold,east wind, clear skies
Bait:frozen black lug, squid,
Rigs:three hook flapper size 4 + pulley 4/0
Results: 15 pin whiting, 1 x large whiting & three LSDs
Report : Fancied a quick blast but needed protection from a very cold & strong east wind & Ardmore Pier sprung to mind - can hide behind the wall to protect me from the wind & with immediate access to deep water, no need to cast long into the fierce wind.
Started with 1/0 hooks on the three hook flapper and was getting bites but no hokk ups, so dropped to size 4s & then had fish each cast. All in all a busy session.
