Report: it was begining to feel like that scene out of trainspotting with the baby crawling upside down on the ceiling!
i had missed the tide - the venue doubtable - but i had to get out!
so i decided to go to the nearest mark to me for a short session
was happy out second cast - nice bite and a fat flounder at 28cm came in
was trying to hit the pools between the sand bars as thing quietened after that - and the tide rushing out - debated that i was only at it an hour and a bit so walked the gear out the 150 metres - set up again - questioning my judgement etc. as you do
couple of casts next thing the rod tip goes and another flounder 27cm but a far slimer specimen this time
happy out with the quick session and back home in time for dinner - fishing as it should be?
