duration- 2hrs

tide- ebb

baits- squid

rigs- 2 hook flappers

results- 6 pollack

report-

went down for 2hours. got rigged and was fishing by 4.45pm, first chuck missed a bite, that went on for the first 3 casts and then got the first fish.

got another few after, squid was definitely workin well.

size 6 or 4 hooks were best, same size as i usually use, loads of bling on my snoods. good sesh, apart from the bloody crabs that would not leave my squid baits alone. :x :x :x :x . i'll hopefully get some lug dug tomorrow and give it a go for cod from the beech in the dark for an hour or two. :) :) :) :)
still good session, once again from good old millisle. :D :D :D :D

Nice going there Dan, What size were your pollock? I tend to fish Dee oten, but considering a trip to Millisle in the near future, how's it treating you? Best to head down at night I assume?

the pollack were about 10-15cm.

at this time of year night fishins best. there are certain areas chuck up the fish, i fished the peir there is a better spot but that is secret.

Cool. Something similar to Dee then. Hoping to get a run out that way shortly, I'll be armed with lug, mack prawn etc. should be good.

best baits are lug, white rag, squid, peeler crab, mackerel and sometimes limpets.
squid, lug and crab i find are the best for codling
squid, mack and lug for pollack and coalies
lug for pouting
lug and rag for flatties
lug and squid for whiting
squid for doggies.

there arent just as many as the dee, but still you cant complain if ur catchin fish.
