Myself, Tom, Martin ,Eddie and Micheal
3-30 pm to 7 pm
Incoming tide
Lug, rag mackeral and squid
3 hook flappers and clipped down 2\0 pennell rigs.
Catch . 4 dogfish .2 flounder 1. 47 cm pollock and 60+ coalfish all between 32 and 37 cm.
Set out to fish a sandy beach but it was impossible due to the amount of weed in the surf. Moved to another spot a few miles away . It was a steep stoney beach we have not fished before. Within minutes of my first cast i had a decent coalfish followed by another then another. This went on for the whole evening with all of us catching fish steadily. The suprising thing was the average size of the coalfish . Its been a long time since we had such a good days fishing in this neck of the woods.

You can get tide down to the same old swims, nothing more pleasurable finding some where new that produces.......
