Report: Went out digging lug this morning at half7 for Clonea tonight , got to the spot it was still dark. digging was tough had to dig in waterlogged trenches to get the worms after an hour and a half we had enough to do us the night comfortably. We could hear the surf rolling in on Tramore beach as we were leaving and assumed there would still be a surf tonight and therefore be an ideal night for a few bass to be on the feed ! Wrong . we got to Clonea there was one wave rolling in Gutted. Not to waste the trip I set up wit the feeder rig and got one whiting . After an hour of nothing we decided to go to Bunmahon . Same thing 1 Whiting on the feeder rig.
We eventually got home sick and thought Better the Divil you know than the Divil you dont and headed for Tramore
Nothing for me there and one shrimp for Stephen !!
There was another man fishing Tramore when we got there he was packing up he had 1 whiting and was using peeler for bait !
