Duration:1800-2200

Tide:;w @ 1923

Weather:clear sky, 3/4 moon f2/3 w

Bait:frozen lug and razor

Rigs:pulley, 3 hook flounder

Results:1 bass 45cm, 6 flounder 23-40 cm




Report:
bit of a spur of the moment trip. discovered that i had some frozen wraps in the freezer an with a nice surf running thought i would hit one of my bas marks. confidence wasnt too high with the bright conditions for bass but there should be a few flounder going. ended with 6 of them, 4 of which were above 30cm. the best took a whole razor on a 3/0 pulley pennel aimed at bass while the bass took half a lug 30 yds out aimed at flounder. makes you think eh??? the 40 cm fish weighed just under 2lbs..

Aint it great when a last minute plan to go fishing works out like this.. Well done nice fish,

And I’m over the moon to see its fishing well there as I will be in west cork in 2 weeks time... hope there still about when I get there,
