Silverstrand, Galway 4-12-08

People:Me, myself and Irene

Duration:1930-2130

Tide:HT ~2140

Weather: Mild, some heavy showers

Bait:Lug, mack

Rigs: Flappers

Results:Flounder, whiting, rockling

Report: Short session just to use up leftover bait from Sunday. Nice surf and lovely conditions, bright moon in between the showers. Double shot of flounder on the 1st cast, one 35cm, the other about 28-30. Couple more flounder after that, between 25-30cm, picked up a couple of small whiting too, biggest about 23cm, and finished off with a rockling on last cast.
Nice to see the flounder still about :)
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
