People:Me n a mate

Duration: 3 to 5

Tide:hw 5.30ish

Weather:dd nth wind, nice while sun was out then cold

Bait:plugs
dd
Rigs:

Results:7 bass (5 released, kept 1 each)

Report:
went to an area we hadn't fished in a long time. plugged away and got 7 between us and it was hard work. Maybe the droppin temperature didnt help. The other lad then twisted his ankle on the way back. To be fair we should have left earlier. The light just faded really fast. On the plus side one spot is a mark we are going to check on the OSI website because it is a very wide gully and we think there may be sand on the outside that we could ground fish. I'l stick up a pic of the one I kept.

Don't know how they are sending PMs direct. You have no PM icon beside your profile icon, and i'm no better on computers than you. Anyway no time to sort it now leaving for Waterford in half an hour. Five hours plus driving, lovely.

7 bass is a fine result. Those two you kept look to be fine specimens - better than those I have been getting lately.

FMCN,

I sent a pm to one of the moderators and hopefully I'll have that sorted by the time you are back from your trip. I have feelin I've seen you out around the oyster beds???????

Rockhunter,

I get plenty smaller ones. Its just the way it goes at times. Your doin well but my suggestion is don't keep poundin the one mark. You know how to fish the one your gettin those ones at. Try interchangin it with another mark now which might throw up nothin or a double. If it its a blank go back to your predictable mark again the next session.

Yep thats me. One of favorite spots in the summer. Usually start at the cunnigar carpark and wander right across to the channel.
