Report:Headed out to dig a few lug with my mate Conor this morning,
Spoted a nice surf on the way back, I had the gear with me so I said I'd give it a shot for a few hours
Had a spot in mind with a good walk to the mark . Set up the pennel with crab sent it out and within ten min had
a 3lb bass .
I sent it back out in the same spot another bass 2lb released
Then I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try the inline feeder rig I had made last night
within 10 mins had yet another bass 2.5lb released. All went quiet after that . had a few more casts then we headed off
Stevo blanked !! Unlucky
P.S Thanks ShoreKing for the advice on the inline feeder !!!

don't mention it. Of course you will catch fish without using it. What I am saying is that it can increase your chances. So, keep experimenting with it and see how you get on!

I used a mixture of bait that i had left over lug ,sandeel , crab claws / legs and razor that i mashed up with some soil from the lug bed (smelly stuff)
.
The feeder was empty when i retrieved it each time, next time i may make a thicker mix see how well that works !

If I'm not gonna catch a fish , I may aswell not catch a BIG fish !

Good result there yourself - Waterford definitely seems to be the place for bass at the moment, although big ones seem a bit scarce.
