An Cheathrú Rua - rock mark, Galway - Sat 22nd November 08

#1 Post by vinnycorrigan »

People: Me and my mate Paul from Cork

Duration: 4 hours

Tide: 2 up and 2 down (approx 9am to 1pm)

Weather: windy, chilly, random drops of rain

Bait: mack and squid

Rigs: multiple

Results: Me - 2 Thornies (3lb each), Paul - nada

Report: Nothing showing the first 2 hours but as the tide turned starting picking up bites resulting in two rays in pretty quick succession. Looking forward to re-visiting the mark in early spring. Thought I would of seen a few pollack at least.
