I must give this one a shot at some point - is it the beach in front of the parking down by the Sea Angling Centre people fish?

Any size to the whiting :?:

(always wanted to say that, when everyone else always asks about the size of the bass :lol: )

Did you fish the north beach?

.......and they say the northerlies kill the fishing on the east coast

We were a bit further north,uvox- we were near the stream where it enters the sea. Normally we'd fish the North beach down by the side of the golf club (turn off by the grass triangle, Road at top of map

http://www.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&ll=5 ... 9&t=p&z=15

)

No real size to whiting and mini bass- seems to be quite a few around at the moment.

Well now Mark,

Lastnight was hardly an explosion of fish for myself and Brian.

Against your better judgement we decided to fish just to the left of the sailing club....out of that cold wind being our sensible reasoning rather than expecting it to fish better.

Brian had 1 whiting, I had nowt :(

First blank in a while for me, but does occasionally happen when I try a new venue.
