Aye he gave a good kick as i was putting him back the blood is from my finger tip as the hook was right at the back of the gills disgorger would've done too much damage, so ended up pushing the point of the hook out with my finger tip..... result me busted finger fish no damage

have no idea which rockling it was. I think we counted 3 beards. As for the plaice. Both salty and myself are or were pretty certain that it was a plaice. And it wasnt rough along the back when rubbed and to us looked different than a flounder. The spots really didnt come out in the pic.
Must admit at first look it did look like a plaice very big orange spots and quite rounded but the photo (3rd down) it does look more like a flounder .... hybrid maybe?? The rockling was definatley a 5 bearded caught an identical one last night.
