People:me

Duration:8 till 11pm

Tide:on the drop

Weather:ddwarm and drizzly

Bait:peeler crab
dd
Rigs:a 4/0 hook and 3oz grip

Results:1 coalie, 1 bass

Report:tried a new venue as ive been trying the same spot 2 often, only 20 minutes drive from the house aswell, didnt even know what i was casting into but as the tide receeded the ground was ideal mostly sandy with as scattering of small reefs and rocks further out, first cast got me a a small coalie and i thought here we go  , i was wrong , no more coalies after that, got an odd sort of bite about 9.30pm a good solid pull but nothing for a while, was ringing the missus telling her i wouldnt be late :D when the rod got ripped off the tripod, good struggle and hey presto 58cm bass, weighted 6lb. fished on full of confidence but that was it , got 1 more oddish bite think it might have been a rockling but just guessing. definatly going back there , theres a bit of backlite and you can see full view of your car :D
