People: Me & 1 other

Duration: 2 hours 16.15-18.15

Tide: 7ish

Weather:dd Great..... nice surf and little wind

Bait:Lug, rag & crab
dd
Rigs:2 up 1 down

Results:2 bass

Report: Arrived on beach and fired out 2 rods. I was in close and other over 100 yds. Bait was lug & rag. Both usually work well. Dave Tilly had also popped in 4 crab. I saw sprats being chased along the suface about 20 yards out. Presumably the bass were chasing them. Just as darkness came I fired out half a crab on the lower hook. After a few minutes I got a wallop followed by slack line. I realed in about 60 yards of line before I could feel the fish.... a lovely 3lb bass. The next cast produced an identical result.

We missed 3 more fish. They were inclined to grab madly at the bait and let go.

Got to go know to cook dinner.............. baked bass YUM YUM!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Art that sounds great. I just baked it in tinfoil with a rasher on the top. Next time I'll follow your recipe. Bass is my favourite fish to catch and to eat.
