bad day in wicklow 14/11/08

me darren and and the chaps

11 to 5

in at 11

very calm

lug mac rag sand eel

loads

a few whities 2 rasse 2 rockling




what a crap session :x arrived at 11 there was only 2 there fishing within the hour there was at least 15 all set for a good day .i didint get a bite from 11 until 4 :? the lads were catchin little wities and a couple rasse in at the edge.2nd cast lost the shock leader off me rod really gettin :x at this stage.then fish face arrived and gave us some great tips and put a new tappered shock leader on my reel which made a big diffrence so thanks for that :D.just put it down to a bad day :cry: .

well joe - a lot of sessions are ending up like this now with the winter coming in

I presume it was the lighthouse pier :?: . You still managed a few fish,,,and a few different species,,,, and best of all you met Fishface :lol: :lol: . You probably would have caught more staying into the darkness a while longer,,but i realise it was already a long day and you had the chaps with you :wink: :wink: . Cracking off happens me every now and again in my excitement to get a bait out :oops: :oops: ,,,the secret is to look like you were just testing the breaking strain of the line :roll: :roll: :roll:

ye was light house side .it does fish a lot better at night time.as for the line breakin it wasint to bad i got caught in weed or sumtin so i wasint to :oops: just a bit :x .im lookin forward to the next session :D
