dublin estuary mark

#1 Post by eric »

People:love to fish and myself

Duration:5-7

Tide: on the ebb

Weather:dd flat calm

Bait:crab
dd
Rigs:flappers, long 3 ft snoods

Results: 5 flounder- 37cm,39cm,42cm,41cm and 46cm

Report:grand oul days fishing, scouted a new mark we thought would be good for flounder, though we've never seen anyone fish it. first cast resulted in missed bite, but a 38cm fish came through the muddy bank on the next one for me, few more missed bites for paul and myself and then paul had a lovely specimen fish at 46cm, was seriously chunky  the next 4 casts got 3 nice fish for me including a fish that was close on the specimen mark at 42, once again it was horribly fat. good few mullet around as well and a couple of nice bass having a jump or two. very handy mark, must have a go again soon :D
