sean, crab can be very good on the local beaches, seems to work well in calmish conditions, when it outfishes other baits, might try a few today..........few mates fished a west waterford beach yesterday, they had lug,rag and peeler they got all the fish on crab!!(4 bass) in the same 2 hours from 4/6pm..going to fish for 4 hours afternoon..........i wonder how many i,ll get 5,10, 20 if i get lucky :)

2 reasons, 1 i only had a jumper on, no coat  2. the best hour "solunar wise" was from 4.15/5.15, after that the best time would have passed......fished the same time/mark (4/6pm.( for next 2 days had 6 and 2 bass, the fishing will pick up again from next mon./tue. on, wed/thu/fri. best days
