myself,gordon,eddie,mick headed for bait b4 going to the beach the weather was very bad hail,sleet,rain cold winds teamed up with weed and a big onshore swell made life a bitch all day, we ended up with 8 flounder,2 small turbot hoping for a late indian summer for the next trip.

Rathmullan?? I thought I saw you all down Portsalon beach, might not of been you I suppose but saw a few fishing thought it was!! jesus it was a tight day, some good waves coming in, was watching the lads out surfing for a while..

Well done derek at least you had a better day than we did at Portsalon. Sea conditions were desperate between weed and side drag created by the swell bouncing off Knockalla cliff face. Further up the swiily sea conditions would have been a lot better.

nice day was'nt it run out of sun block :lol: ,hopfully this weekend will be kinder on the weather front ,the fishing has'nt been too bad lately plenty of flatties be nice too get something bigger.
