Buy a few 2litre cartons of milk on the weekly shop, position strategically and hide your bait behind them, and pray the missus dosnt notice them there !!
Well thats what I do

Re: bait fridge
You can get fridges for free from recycling depots, they are only too happy to get rid of them,
I got a side by side fridge freezer for nothing, put it in the shed and it's ideal for what i want it for, keeping worms & crab for a few days or freezing any crab you don't use during a session. Plus I always keep a half dozen mackeral & sandeel in there for last minute sessions.
I've had a mass peeler "escape" in the house fridge once, i didn't know the mot had such a powerful right hook. Another time the power went out in the house, the stink of the defrosted bait was shocking!!!

Re: bait fridge
i got a wine fridge in dunnes a while back. its only about 2.5 foot high and cost 50euro. i have it in the unused box room and it works fine. just plug it in when you have something to put in and plug it out when its not in use, keeping your carbon footprint to a minimum.

Re: bait fridge
one dead simple method to keep your rag and lug alive for weeks is a cat litter tray with an inch of sea water in it change the water daily and pop a cheap airstone pump into the mix and your worms will live for weeks works for me anyway, and the whole set up only costs £10 max provided you pick up your fridge for free
hope this is of some help to you
