Me and a mate fished Cushendun last night right through to 01:30. Talked to a couple of guy's who said that it had been fishing very well during the week so we were well pleased. Turned out rubbish. I had one small codling and my mate had a small whiting and a coalie about 25cm. Traces were coming back cleaned by crabs. Very dissapointing

I would definately recommend fishing the beach at night
i was there a few weeks back and had good craic, landed
a good few species to add to the list. I find that most marks
on the north coast fish better at night, had my worst
outting so far on sat afternoon ( 2 small pollack ) stayed
on till it got dark and landed 4 more in an hour.............
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

09 so far--codling coalies plaice flounder turbot 3&5 bearded rockling doggies whitting shanny and a 5lb huss thornback ray squid starfish mackeral pollack corkwing wrasse ballan wrasse 5lb 6oz conger
