At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!
I bought a pair of Ron Thompson Waders last Christmas, i have only wore them a handfull of times but they seem to be leaking through the right boot which i found out yesterday... wasn't too good in that cold Was just wondering if there is any way of repairing them or should i just reside to buying a new pair of Waders?
In these recessionary times I think repairing is always a good idea .
Fill the right leg of your wader with water to see exactly where it is leeking through and put a mark around it. Probably a little crack. Fill the crack with glue along the line of Ardalite or Superglue. I sure other people will have suggestions on what glue to use aswell.
Nothing worse that a leeky pair of waders but I think definatly worth repairing as long as you have less than 5 holes.
Yeah tell me about it! Cheers for that will give it a go later! or i might just dip the whole lot in glue...you never know the fumes could make the fishing a little more interesting!
never mind araldite or superglue you can get aquasure or stormsure in fishing shops. but even better (same stuff but cheaper and bigger) is "serious glue" in b&q.
