South Beach Greystones 22nd January 2005

#1 Post by John D »

Myself and three friends arrived on the south beach Greystones at approx. 7 o'clock in the morning. Full tide was at 10 o'clock. We got fishing by about 7.20. Conditions were calm and wet. The sea was like a lake. We were using mackerel, rag and lug. We casted various distances from approximately 30 yards up to approximately 100 yards. The rigs were nothing special. There were two small coal fish and one reasonable sized dab caught in the first hour. Once the sun came up the bites dried up. We left at approximately 11 o'clock.
Protect the magical sport of sea angling and spread the word that conservation is the way forward. Put fish back!!!!
