Malahide-17/10/08

People:Me and Max

Duration:4 hours

Tide:2 hours before ht (2 am) 2 hours after

Weather:breezy, chilli but dry

Bait:Rags, sand eel, peeler, mack and squid
dd
Rigs:2 hooks flapper

Results:Me 20 whiting and 2 dog, Max 5 whiting




Report:Yesterday, decided to hit the usual local spot, to finish all the left over.... Whitings (25 cm to pin size) started to warm us instantly :) , but most of them could have compete for the Irish record for the smallest fish on a size 2/0 hook :oops: ....But it was great fun...Things slows for a moment, with a few crabs (I miss them), and started again. As the wind was started to be very cold and no good fish to show :( , we decided to call it a day and headed back home....

Sure, but that's just my casting glove, hurt my thumb one time :cry: :cry: .... And it could look a bit too much but tried to find just a good thumb protection, and I find them too weak....Must find a piece of car tyre (the thing inside... sorry I don't know the name :oops: :oops: ) to fix under my multiplier....
