After work i went down to see if the full moon would give me any luck!
i used mackerel , first i got a nice Coalie(not huge but big enough to feel good) after this every ten ,fifteen minutes i had a dogfish :P so after the fifth i decided to go home .
was very nice quiet, clear water, no wind

Define Dalkey beech for me,Im not a local but I go to the Rocks down at the little park about twice a week, Is that Sorrento point? After a session there,7 doggies and a lobster I took the road in opposite of the colliemore direction,But couldn't find Sorrento road, allthough I can pind it on Google maps,So when I got further up the hill I had a look out and saw Killiney Beech so I thought I might've gone too far,So where's this Dalkey Beech?

The little park is known as Dillons park. Sorrento point can be accessed through here but its dangerous to do so at night.

I never heard of Dalkey Beach. Perhaps it was White Rock ?

DAlkey/Killiney beach. WHERE???

so from dunlaoghaire drive up to killiney castle take a right up the hill straight over the roundbout and follow the signs for killiney dart station! it should be on your right handside after go as far as the first bend in road and 20 yard after the bend turn left and go back under the dart bridge!! woala there is an empty car park! beach is 1 min away! saturday friday busy! hee hee but the rest of week ok!!!! i advise everyone to put the alarm on the car!

Nice beach! good bit of weed in someareas, be aware of dogs takin yor macks and warms, dont go down there on a sunny day!!

By the way friday 19.30-22.30 greystones we had about 12 whiting on sandeel but i think if we had smaller hooks we wud ended up wit 100! as after throw 2 sec and they start biting the eels of!!!we had 4/0 2/0 hooks great fun water low. full moon!!!!
