Samo,
What name of beach you were at? Thought I'd at least catch a dogfish but no joy !

regards,
Steven

Had a pretty poor day on Ennereilly myself. I guess South Beach Arklow is a better bet really.

WE were fishing Toberpatrick its just before clones beach its a pretty shallow beach with a big gully around 20 meters out when the tide is high the bass come into the gully anf the flounders are there nearly all the time ye just put your bait into were the waves start to break cause that is were the the food is getting knocked up. toberpatrick can be a bit hit and miss same as ennereilly if i was you i would wait till we had easterly winds before hitting either of those beaches mate they always fish better for bass anyway when the water is coloured and there is a bit of a roll on the sea.
