Report: Was ment to head out at 11pm tonight and fish the rise till 5am tomorrow, but I had a beach stuck in me head the last month that was telling me to fish it! Its a beach ive never heard anyone talk about, but my head was telling me there was Bass there! To make matters worse I wanted to fish it in the day time ! (95% of my fishing is done at night)..so that was the plan.....Pat arrived to pick me up and I told him the plan, he wasnt convinced at all
..but I had seen to Magpies on the way back from digging so I knew I was on for a winner 
Arrived and we both set up 2 rods one for seeking out some flats and the other for locating some bars of silver, after the first hour and half of the fall there were no bites on any of the rods, and I think Pat had on foot off the beach....
He flicked out his flounder flapper about 30 yards to the left of his position. A few mins passed, while we were talking I spotted a Bass and I siad to Pat 'Theres a Bass swirling over you bait there' ....He looked at me as if I had 5 heads, he obviously didnt believe me, anyway a few seconds later his rod bent over in the stand, 'Be ta f*** Danny' he says, 'I told ya' says I ( It was one of those Master Card moments
) After a bit of a comotion from me shouting loosein your drag etc...as he was using size 2 hooks for flounder, he finally got the fish in smiles all round mission complete, my hunch was confirmed!
I seen 2 more swirls soon after and sent my pennel for one of swirl locations, 1 min Later I also had a small Bass on the shore. We also got an Lsd and a flounder out of it.
That was it we headed for home then.
