DIY Coil Crimps

#1 Post by Millbank »

Standard telephone cable contains several strands of thin PVC coated wire of various colours. As such, even a short lenght will give you lots of strands when stripped of the outer cable. Take a lenght and carefully coil it around a stout pin, and snip off the excess when you're happy with the coil length. Slip the coil onto your line, and lock it in place by twisting each end in opposite directions - you'll find it gets a really good grip!
