east cork beaches

#1 Post by beachbuddy »

People:myself and evo man

Duration:3 to 9

Tide:7ish

Weather:bright and blustery with a few showers

Bait:lug,mackeral and razor

Rigs:everthing in the bag

Results:well fed crabs

Report:Decided on a bass session down east, but no fish to show for our joint efforts.Conditions were bright but a decent surf was present. We both had fish in similar conditions before but nothing showed today not even a bite.We hit a dropping tide mark in darkness but again nothing but huge lumps of weed.
The night got really cold more like the kind in the middle of winter maybe it put the fish off, thats the excuse for today, but any other reasons can be sent to me on a postcard, because were baffled but thats fishing i suppose.Anyway thats the story, maybe this cold spell will bring a few codling within casting range soon, who knows :?: :?:
Tight lines.
