Donaghadee, 28th Sept

#1 Post by vamper »

People: Me

Duration: 11.00 - 12.30

Tide:High

Weather:Sunny

Bait: macky strips (Tescos finest lol)

Rigs:2 hook bomber, float

Results:1 Pollack

Started fishing with a bomber rig, and first cast got a bite which took me into weed, resulting in one lost fish and one lost rig! :(
Switched to float after losing another rig, and within 5 minutes got my first ever pollack (maybe get the picture up later).
Got talking to another angler who turned out to be nobuzz from the forum.(Nice meeting you nobuzz). Him and his son were bringing in wrasse and pollack on rag and prawn
Looking forward to getting out again, and maybe trying the prawns

I heard good reports float fishing off the rocks towards the marina just around where the picnic benches are. Might be worth a few chucks.
i get by with a little help from my friends.
