Bait: Lug and Razor

Report:We headed to Dungarvan last night and paid Arthur a visit. Not much to report fishing wise but we had good crack all the same.
I got the only Bass of the night, slack liner from about 100 yards into my feet, he went for the Razor.
We were supposed to fish it out until morning but the fshing was slow so we called it quits at 02:30am
Some sights going through Waterford city at 03:30am when your sober...

Blanked on cunnigar last night at HT around dusk :( , there was a fair NW breeze that seemed to put the fish off.

You weren't the guy i was speaking to on Saturday night. I was out by the weedbeds but had nothing. I had 4 bass to about 5 lb on Saturday afternoon at the oyster beds but conditions for the weekend far from perfect. Not a breath of wind and water as clear as crystal. All bass came in a 15 min spell. I came across a large shoal of fish breaking surface over one of the shallow banks. Mullet i thought, but i had a cast anyway and had 2 bass in first 2 casts, then a few more casts and i picked up another 2 fish in the next 10 mins. Still don't believe all the fish moving were bass. If they were there were hundreds of them. I can only assume the bass were in among large numbers of mullet. It was the first time i have waded out at the oyster beds and it was so calm and clear i could see the flounders dart off as i approached. Some good size ones as well.
