MUNSTER CLOSED SHORE 2nd LEG
Saturday October 18th, 2008
Woodstown Beach, Co. Waterford.


Fishing 5pm – 9pm. Pre Entry Fee €20.

€5 of Entry Fee goes to the Munster Council
On the day entries and Non IFSA members €40

Check-In at The New Geneva, Passage East between 2pm – 4pm.

3 Zones 3 Prizes Per Zone + 1st Overall
Optional Pool €10 ...... 100% Payout. 50% Longest Roundfish/50% Longest Flatfish.

Tom,
Entry forms have been sent to all Munster Secretaries but if you put your Name, Club and Card number on a sheet and sent it to me at the address with the entry fee I will accept it

hi Sharky any chance you could throw up a downloadable version on this forum as from chattin to the Tralee bay SAC lads at wweekend no one seems to have the forms. If you can at all it'd be smashing. Failing that can I just post a sheet containg name, club, ifsa number and check to that address above ya?

Could anyone give an idea of what catches can be expected fishing Woodstown at this time and stage of the tide ? PM's welcome :) .

I've been told that it is a fairly shallow venue with no real depth within casting range ??

I presume size limits are 20 round/flat?

Fishing In Woodstown will be for Flounder, Eels and Bass. It is a shallow venue but fishing will be to the top of the tide. Size limits are 20cms. Prizes on the day are to the value of €1300 based on 50 anglers.

69 anglers took part in the Munster Closed on Woodstown Beach on Sat last.

Any chance, if you gets a chance like, of putting up a league table. few of the tralee boy's were wondering yesterday. not that they've much to be wondering about like.

Very well run comp and plenty of space between pegs! Fishing wasn't great, millions of undersize but beautiful night for it! Good to see a few old faces.
