tide: 7:00pm

bait: mack,squid,lug,sand eel

result: 2 mack, wrasse, pollock


had a couple of mackerl early on taking sandeel.few others throw'n feathers but not to many mack around. not much else for a few hours, then a nice wrasse on mack/squid, about 3- 3.5 lb. couple of tourists fishing off one of the moured boats came up asking about the wrasse and if i like any lug. something about a rod they had'nt brought end'n up with a about 30 hugh black lug-sound! hook'd up a 3/0 with a slab of mack and large lug. had a nice hit about 8:00, pollock about 5lb. good day out..

Great looking wrasse - I am amazed at the colour variations in wrasse - no two wrasse look the same.
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)
Cod season Winter 2014/15: 193 cod (best fish: 4.25 lbs)
