query on ballycastle pier

when is ballycastle pier best fished ,day or night over a high or low tide. Also what bait and what is there to target. cheers

I know there's flats, Pollack, and Conger there during the Summer, Didnt Ronald say something about Codling in his last post? If we're going I suggest Lugworm, Rag, Crab, Squid and Mack, Just to cover all the options. Fish your usually 2 Hook Clipped up Scratcher mate...m If there is anything bigger possibly move to Pennell Pulleys, or the like.

I thought everyone just snuck over the rocks behind the toilets??

can some one tell me are you aloud to fish of the pier. if not were else is fishing well this weather. also directions from town centre to pier and are there 2 piers in ballycastle.
