just wondering i only ever use a standard 2 to 3 hook rig for baitin but not havin much success as yet i am catchin fish but not as much as i would like should i be doing anything different or is this ok

What size hooks are you using? If you absolutely want to catch fish then drop your hook sizes on the rigs to 2's and 4's.
You can still get the large fish on them, but you'll pick up a lot more small fry, it saves a blank.....
That said I've had flat fish about the size of an old pound coin on large size 2's, mad yokes.
