Fishing in cahirciveen/fanad

Anyone try fishing the Cahirciveen or Fanad area over xmas :twisted:

Hi there, Two of us fished Magherawarden beach, Fanad, on the 3rd Jan. Two hours either side of the tide and beached 17 reasonable flounder and a couple of small brill. The day was a bit of a calmer period between the storms of the weekend. The bait was mack with some squid thrown in for good measure on two hook paternoster with 18" snoods and size 1 hook. Both had their share of bites but the mack took the bigger number of fish. Not a bad morning at all.
