Some underwater footage
Took some vt of a wrasse feeding on a sea urchin while on a dive the other night! I know its not strictly a shore report but it's pretty cool to see the fish in its natural habitat... 8)
The site is just out of portaferry, the inner Lee's wreck. Looks like the fish has been caught before as it has some scarring and a ripped pectoral fin.

P.s Thanks Ronald et al for pointing me in the right direction regards getting rag for bait. Took the easy option this time... getting from Belfast Angling Centre.
Low water is about 4ish on Thursday afternoon, I'll be at the back of Bangor Pier 'til I run out of rag if anyone is about :D

movie
interesting movie,
it does also debunk the theory that you need "invisible" line and rigs.
im thinking of tying a rig with a dummy divers arm and very bright torch
as a boom to help them find the bait

Excellent lads, 8)
Make’s me want to take up diving but to do that comfortably I would need a boat.. So please don’t post anymore of this fantastic stuff as my bank manager already thinks I’ve lost the plot, :)
PS, Just out of curiosity how much would the tank / suit and all the bits cost me to start with,

You wouldnt need to see your bank manager surely....I could do you all the gear to get started comfortably for €3000, just prise up that mattress of yours:wink:

Does that include the boat, :)
No realy, I'm well up for it.. so i might try the diving club in kilkee first then we might talk about the gear you can sort me with.
you can tell me the price you want for the gear and when i stop laughing i will tell how much i will give you for it, 8)
