Report:
This is a report from two trips really, one a two dayer back at the start of june and then our week long one last week. It will just put up brief results now and will do pics and a better report tomorrow.
The trip in june was supposed to be for tope but the killer east wind up to force 6-7 meant we couldnt get where we wanted to and had to settle for some decent Ray to over 15lbs.
The second trip saw a lot of mixed weather but we managed to get out most days. The highlights were the discovery of a lovely slow rising reef that provied great mixed sport over a number of days producing pollock, coalies, ballans, cuckoos, ling etc with our best day throwing up five double figure pollock to just short of 15lbs (for my dad who also had a 12). We hit some good spurs to with the best being 16.5lbs with 4 over 14lbs and a lot more that would have been specimens that we didnt weigh (i would guess 5-6 would have been around 12lbs).
Pictures to follow.
