People me and the brother

[b]Duration 4 pm to 11pm

[b]Tide
:incoming

Weather:lovely

Bait:rag squid mac

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:weever I think flounder bass




[b]Report arrived at 4 expecting rain it never came :D

1st cast a weever I think next 5 casts doubles of weevers went quiet then for an hour our 2. sitting on the box daydreaming CRASH rod and stand on the deck sh@t ran like a woman (brothers description) to get the rod loads of slack line finally made contact with the fish as he went left and right in the surf brought him in 48 cm bass probably 50 if i had laid it out properly

went quiet after that but I didnt care

by the way if it wasnt for this site and the info on the weever fish I reckon i might be one sick puppy today

Lovely bass, welldone Derek.

The weaver's seem to be turning up in numbers on that stretch of the coast.

They are easily identified by the black first dorsal fin.

Nice Bass Derek, well done :lol: , bet the adrenalin levels went skyhigh when the rod stand went over :lol:

I think I would have packed up and moved on elsewhere after the third weever :shock: :shock:
